Kate Evans ~ ‘Poisoned Pen’

This is a past event

Local crime writer Kate Evans is our next guest at the Derwent Valley BRIDGE Library talks on Thursday 7th March at 7 pm. Kate has been a writer for over thirty years and lives in Scarborough, where her crime mysteries are set. Kate will be suggesting that there are seven key elements which make up a contemporary crime novel. Her talk traces the development from the earliest crime novels, through the ‘Golden Age’ to modern times. The talk is interactive and is illustrated with recorded extracts from various novels.
