Blue Planet Day

Blue Planet Day was a tremendous success with 34 children attending.

All kinds of activities were on offer from fishing to decorating storage jars.

There were some staff from the Sea Life Centre to talk about their work and about marine life as well as a chance to see and feel the different kinds of sea weed we have along our shoreline.

There was fishy themed snacks to eat  and different sorts of fish to taste,

as well as a chance to learn about how we can stop pollution and help to clean up the seas and oceans and to preserve all the wonderful wild life that live in them.

Everyone seems to have enjoyed themselves and thanks must go to Jane and Pet and all the helpers who made it such a successful day.
