Snake Davis

There was a full house in the village hall on Saturday 28th September to listen to Snake Davis tell us all about his career and the instruments he plays. He demonstrated his amazing skill on the saxophone as well as a range of different instruments from a didgeridoo to a small flute which was a replica of one made from a vultures wing bone discovered in a cave in France and believed to be the oldest wind instrument ever found.

Before the talk Snake presented the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes to the children who won the competition to design a CD cover.  Afterwards he did a Q & A session  Everyone enjoyed the evening and I’m sure he has collected a few new fans.
