We Have Re-opened
As from Friday 24th July, Derwent Valley BRIDGE Library is open for a SELECT AND COLLECT service.
We are offering a limited service to keep our volunteers and library users safe. The trustees have done everything they can to be Covid compliant so customers will notice some changes.
We can only offer a Select & Collect service as at the present time, there will be no public access to the library.
We shall be open on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10am – noon and from 2pm to 4pm when customers can email their requests to firstname.lastname@example.org or can telephone 01723 863052 to speak to a volunteer.
We shall get books ready for collection, usually on our next opening day and will give a time period when books can be collected from the lobby area at the front of the library. Customers will be asked to sanitise hands before picking up books (hand sanitiser available) Any returned books should be put through the library letterbox.
We hope that in the next few weeks, we may be able to extend the service to include public use of computer and photocopying, and then eventually browsing in the library (with limited numbers.)
